Supporting your telephoto lenses for wildlife photography

Telephoto lenses are critical for wildlife photography, but big lenses can be a challenge to support due to their size and weight. Here, Jason P. Odell demonstrates the use of ball heads and gimbal heads for using long telephoto lenses.

Awesome, I’ve got a budget supertelephoto (a Sigma 70-200 plus a 2x teleconverter), it’s a bit hard to know where to go with heads and tripods, so this helps me out, although I think all that stuff is quite expensive.
